Frequently Asked Questions

.

#1 - Why is there such a big difference in prices?

Massage chairs are like anything else. You get what you pay for.

There are 3 different grades of massage chairs - cheap, mid-grade, and premium quality.

They all have a similar look to them, but if you check under the hood - that's where the similarities end.

The price point is based on its design, its features, the quality of every single component installed during the assembly of the chair, and the quality of the after-sales support and service, if there is any.

Customer support and the quality of service of any retailer, is something you should research before pulling the trigger on any massage chair purchase.

.

#2 - How long do massage chairs last?

It depends on the quality of the components used during the assembly process, how often it's used, and the demand put on the chair.

A cheap massage chair's lifespan is anywhere from a few days to a few years at best.

A mid-grade massage chair will typically last from 5 to 10 years, and a premium massage chair should last 10 years and more.

We've actually replaced chairs that were 30+ years old.

.

#3 - How long will it take for my massage chair to arrive?

If we have it in stock, next day delivery is usually an option.

If we don't have it in stock and need to order it, it'll typically arrive to us in 7 to 10 business days, except for the Christmas holidays where it may take a week little longer.

Once we have it, we can usually bring it to you next business day.

.

#4 - How long have you been in business?

We've been in the mechanical service business since 1996, and in April of 2015, we added massage chair sales & service to our product offerings.

.

#5 - Why are demo's by appointment?

2 reasons. #1. We're a very active service company so we may be out of the office without an appointment, and #2. Demo's usually take anywhere from a half hour to 2+ hours, and you'll get our undivided attention with absolutely no pressure to buy, if you schedule your appointment.

Same day appointments are usually available.

.

#6 - Who should I call if I need service?

If you purchased your massage chair from us, call or text us with the details, and we'll take it from there.

If you purchased your massage chair elsewhere, please contact the manufacturer or the retailer.

Because we are so busy, we have to limit our massage chair service to our customers only.

.

#7 - What's the most likely part on a massage chair to fail?

The first 4 components in a massage chair's sequence of operation, are the power cord, the power switch, the motherboard, and the controller.

Provided the power cord is fully inserted on both ends and the power switch is on, the motherboard and controller operate everything that a massage chair does, and they can easily be damaged from power spikes or improper voltage.

These are the 2 most common types of repairs.

.

#8 - Will health insurance pay for a massage chair?

A few of our customers have had success with this.

2 were military vets, and 3 were civilians.

The civilians had a flexible savings account attached to their policy, and needed prior approval from their insurance company, who required a prescription for a massage chair from their doctor.

.

The 2 military veterans had the VA pay for it, but it did take a lot longer to get approved.

They needed to submit a letter from their doctor stating that due to their condition, a massage chair was a medical necessity.

Then the VA had to decide if a massage chair falls under their durable medical equipment classification, and it appears that this decision is made on a case by case basis.
